Glenealy has always had a very strong juvenile section and have won many trophies at under 12, 14, 16 and Minor levels.
We are a small club competing with large towns, but are well capable of performing above expectation.
We recognise that nurture is as important as nature and good training improves performance.
Quality coaching is the foundation on which success is built and we focus on skills with a large emphasis on FUN, with lots of positive feedback.
We promote individual development and well-being, and strive to enable all our members achieve their full potential in their chosen roles.
Our vision is that everybody has the opportunity to be welcomed, to participate fully, to grow and develop, to take part in our games and culture and to be inspired to keep a lifelong engagement with Glenealy and with hurling.
We try to improve the children’s self reflection, self awareness and increase responsibility as the years progress.
Supporting our children through the medium of sport instils in them a strong sense of community which will benefit everybody in our community long after they have played their last game for Glenealy.
If your child is not participating or stopped or you are new to the area, please come to our club and help us develop a better Club and community.
